UPCOMING SEWER LINE PROJECTS
Two small sewer line relocation projects will be starting soon: One is near the intersection of Newport and Waterbury Drives in West Point and is expected to begin in mid to late February. The other project will be done in conjunction with the upcoming replacement of the bridge on Airport Road, expected sometime in April. Please go to the Current Projects page for more information.

Notice Regarding Sewage Backup
To Our Customers: The Hempfield Township Municipal
Authority would like to respectfully notify you that property damage
resulting from sewage backing up into your home is the
responsibility of the homeowner, not the Authority.
Most insurance companies offer products to protect homeowners
from a sewer backup. Protect yourself from a sewer backup by
contacting your insurance agent. Furthermore, there are mechanical
devices (backwater valves) designed to prevent sewage back-ups available from local

The Hempfield Township Municipal Authority is equipped with a
drop box for sewage payments by check 24/7. Located beside
the drive-thru payment window.
- Drive-Thru Window Available for Payment During
The drive thru payment window is available during normal
business hours. Business hours are
Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm, with the office
closed for lunch from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
